活元 (Lifegen, "we") respects your privacy and complies with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you browse lifegenwell.com, shop with us or contact us.
1. Data we collect
- Order data: name, email, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, purchase history.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Shopify and payment providers; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Enquiry data: the messages and photos you send us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form.
- Browsing data: device and browser type, IP address, cookies and website usage records.
2. How we use your data
- to process orders, payments and delivery;
- to handle returns, refunds and enquiries;
- to send order and shipping notifications;
- to keep the website running securely and prevent fraud;
- to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements.
Providing personal data is voluntary. However, if you don't provide the information needed to process your order (such as a delivery address and contact details), we may not be able to complete it.
3. Direct marketing
We will only use your name and contact details to send you offers or new product information with your consent. You can ask us to stop at any time, free of charge, using the unsubscribe option in the message or by emailing support@lifegenwell.com.
4. Transfer of data
For the purposes above, we only share the necessary data with the following types of organisations:
- our e-commerce platform, Shopify;
- payment providers;
- logistics and courier companies;
- other service providers that help us run the website and customer service.

5. Processing outside Hong Kong
Because some service providers' servers are located outside Hong Kong, your data may be processed and stored outside Hong Kong. We choose service providers with reasonable safeguards.
6. Cookie
This website uses cookies for basic functions such as the shopping cart, login and security. Where analytics or advertising tools are used, they follow your choices. You can manage cookies in your browser settings or change your settings on the Your privacy choices page. Disabling some cookies may stop parts of the shopping experience from working properly.
7. Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Data security
Only staff and service providers who need access can access your data, and we take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
9. Access and correction
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to access and correct the personal data we hold about you. Please send a written request to our privacy officer:
